‘AIYFF is committed to connecting schools and uplifting the future of the South Australian Creative Industry’

Hey Teachers!

Get your class involved by attending the festival as film critics!

The Adelaide International Youth Film Festival is committed to raising the voices of the youth across the world and getting them involved with the creative industry within South Australia. This year our theme YOU. ME. DISCUSS. highlights our belief that young people are able to be present as grounded individuals, listening and hearing alternative ideas with tolerance and understanding, all while bringing their unique perspectives to a table of ideas, which can allow magic to happen.

The AIYFF invites schools, classes and individual groups to become part of the amazing festival atmosphere. Attending the festival for just one day or across the full five day program students will enjoy awesome hand-selected screenings from live-action, animation and documentary categories. They’ll also enjoy access to Virtual Reality demonstrations, Interactive Green Screen and SFX make up lessons that students will be able to try themselves!

Festival location is still to be confirmed however this year will be held within the city at an Adelaide cinema with the full festival program announced early June 2018

Festival dates: Wednesday 22nd August – Sunday 26th August 2018
